Promotional campaign for Plastindia 2021, the 11th international plastics exhibition, launched at a one-day event in Ahmedabad. A hero in a green cape, one line, one key visual that scales from a press backdrop to a highway billboard.

Feb 4 to 8, 2021 · Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

Plastics have an image problem. The campaign set out to show the industry as what it sees itself to be: a quiet superpower.
Sign-ups a year away
Drive exhibitor and visitor sign-ups for a trade show a year away, starting with a promotional event in Ahmedabad, and make a technical industry feel bold.
Cast the industry as a hero
A businessman in a green cape fronts every piece under one line: "Discover the super power of plastics." Delhi landmarks point to the main event.
One key visual, every size

From a line to a highway.
One idea, one hero, one colour, then every size the campaign needed.

A cape, not a lab coat.
Instead of pellets and machines, the campaign shows a person: an everyday professional with a green cape, standing tall. He stands in for the whole industry, and the cape carries the brand colour into every frame.
Everyday professional. Green cape. Standing tall.
No pellets, no machines. The cape does what a logo cannot: it makes the colour part of the person, so every photo of the campaign is green before any logo appears.

From press backdrop to highway billboard.
The same artwork, the same hero, the same line. Drag to scale it against a person.

The rule: white on Plastindia Green is 2.8:1, so green carries the cape, the band and large headlines only. Small type on light uses Deep Green (4.5:1) or ink.
The line lands.
A seven-second message animation for screens at the event and on social. Green floods in, the line builds, the logo lands.
Ahmedabad, one day, one colour.
From the welcome standee to the registration desk and the press conference wall, the hero and the green band repeat until the room feels like a Plastindia stage.
